What the world needs is more geniuses with humility, there are so few of us left

Name:
Lucie

I haven't grown out of my fangirl phase, much to my eternal shame. Easily obsessed with any passing interests,
which change on a daily basis, hence the need to friends-lock this entire journal.

Just a few of my favorite people of late:

Troy and Abed are pretty much the only reason I watch Community. Definitely a charming little bromance. ♥

I LOVE Parks and Recreation! But really I just love this guy:

And hope that more of this will happen:

MISFITS! Unsure if I can make it to the end of the year to see the new season.

Waiting for THIS guy is especially difficult:

But not this guy. Good riddance.

BREAKING BAD! Best show on TV?

Killing time like Jesse Pinkman, waiting for Season 4.

Oh Jesse :(( :(( :(( Sobbing forevz.

Latest all consuming fannish obsession? This guy:

Along with this guy:

Seriously, the two of them together? I just can't even.

Some GQ mofos when they want to be:

I've never seen a more touchy-feely pair of costars:

The term BROMANCE was created for these two, and I love it.

I've also recently watched The Pacific and am obsessed with the cajun weirdo that is Snafu,
as played by Rami Malek and his beautiful eyeballs

But mostly I love the "special friendship" between Sledge and Snafu. Who knows what kinds of things went down in their foxhole.

Stefon is my favorite gay at the moment.

But no one will ever be more special than My Firsts, the ones that got me involved in this fannish business in the first place.

Brian and Justin, Queer as Folk, forever and ever amen.

This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple;
the philosophy is kindness.
-- His Holiness the Dalai Lama

I am a strong liberal, not affiliated with any religion, so don't try to convert me to anything else.

"The only thing that sustains one through life is the consciousness of the immense inferiority of everybody else,
and this is a feeling that I have always cultivated."
–- Oscar Wilde

I am a pretentious music snob -- yes, one of THOSE -- but I often find myself listening to those guilty pleasures just for laughs.
Love books, love movies, love tv, love pop culture in general. Also, I love getting caught in the vortex that is YouTube and Tumblr.
You know, where you start out looking at one video or gif, and next thing you know it's three hours later and you can't even remember where you started.

"I am a deeply superficial person." -- Andy Warhol

I ramble a lot, complain a lot, have so many weird random thoughts it's not even funny, and I have a feeling it will be a never-ending quest for me to find true happiness. On the other hand, I have confetti for every occassion and will send you liberal amounts if given the opportunity to confetti bomb you. That's fun, right?!

"I like too many things and get all confused and hung-up running from one falling star to another till I drop. This is the night, what it does to you.
I had nothing to offer anybody except my own confusion." -- On The Road
, by Jack Kerouac

And never ever forget:

Thank you, reeface , for this piece of art

"The whole secret of life is to be interested in one thing profoundly and in a thousand things well."
-- Horace Walpole
